Israel Center for Excellence through Education
E2K High School
Pilot Program

In accordance with its goal of creating an environment of excellence from elementary school through high school, the Center for Excellence now aims towards the Israeli high school students. After exposure to the Center for Excellence’s standards of excellence in the middle schools, the E2K high school program was in popular demand before it even began. The E2K classes in the 10th and 11th grades in the selected schools are led by local science teachers from communities that have already participated in the E2K junior high school program.

Developing their Research and Learning Skills

The high school program is intended for outstanding science students desiring a broad, in-depth and thought-provoking challenge beyond that offered in their regular high school science curriculum.  It reveals new horizons to the students and teachers.

Led by Excelling Teachers

Teachers selected to present the new E2K classes take part in extensive training given by the Excellence Educators Institute (EEI) of the Center for Excellence.  They continue to receive additional professional guidance, support and training from EEI throughout the school year.  The training program is accredited by the Israeli Ministry of Education.
