Communication is the name of the game. The Center for Excellence’s website is taking educational communication to the next level.
The E2K International Learning Community is where E2K students from across the world log on to communicate, compete, and learn. From virtual lessons live from NASA headquarters to friendly conversations, the E2K International Learning Community is becoming the center of global excellence.
Interacting with New Friends
The community’s E2K Online program is where the students come to socialize and learn. The programs first project – Netpaling, is a unique initiative that creates a network of outstanding students from across the globe. The students communicate one with another on an individual basis during and beyond class time. Topics of conversation range from class material to personal hobbies and interests.
E2K Online’s second project, E2K Virtual Class, is doing the unbelievable. It takes various classrooms that are thousands of miles apart and brings them all together in one virtual classroom. The classes take place in the morning, U.S. time, and require basic internet tools.

Competing with New Friends
E2K International Riddle of the Month is the International Learning Community’s competition forum. Several times a year, all E2K students in the world receive an identical riddle written in their native language. The students are invited to take their best shot at solving the riddle. Both the riddle and the students’ solutions are presented on the International Learning Community’s site. The winners of each riddle are announced online and are awarded with science-related prizes.
It is incredible to see the enthusiasm and motivation that the students exhibit while learning in this unique interactive environment. The cooperation among the different E2K programs greatly enhances the enriching experience for the students.
