A Life Changing High School Education

If you’re a high school student with high
abilities, extensive curiosity, a thirst for knowledge and strong motivation, you’re in the right place.

The Israel Arts and Science Academy (IASA) was created for highly talented and motivated students who have got what it takes in fields such as music, mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics, computer science, sculpture and the visual arts. An emphasis is placed on providing the students with advanced learning tools, knowledge and extensive practical experience in the students’ field of specialty.

The Israel Arts and Science Academy is situated on the beautiful grounds of the Schusterman Campus surrounded by the Jerusalem hills.

Our Values

Behind our students, faculty and campus life stand the values that bring them all together. Excellence, leadership, social responsibility, pluralism, mutual understanding and democracy are the essential values with which IASA students and graduates live with every single day.

Our Students

IASA is the most integrated high school in Israel.  Its 218 students and over 1000 graduates come from more than 220 communities across Israel.  They are religious and secular Jews; Israeli Arabs (Druze, Christian, Bedouin and Muslim); new immigrants and native-born Israelis.  They come from development towns and major cities, kibbutzim and moshavim.  They represent the full mosaic of Israeli society. IASA students participate in various national and international competitions and achieve awards and prizes bringing honor to the Academy and to the State of Israel.

Our Faculty

Students enjoy specialized curriculum and are nurtured by a devoted faculty and distinguished mentors. The sixty faculty members include experienced teachers and members of the Israeli academia, most of them hold either a PhD or master's degree in their fields. They teach and create special courses for the Academy and Center for Excellence national programs.

Our Dormitories

The integrated school society becomes a living lesson in democratic and humanistic values in the dorms.  A lively program of cultural activities, discussions, intellectual stimulation, current events and social activities is combined with an active sports program.  Parental involvement, essential in every school environment, is particularly solicited at the Academy.

Our Sports, Fitness and Wellness Center

The Sports Center, which contains a gymnasium, a well equipped fitness room, a movement room and an aerobics studio, was designed to promote holistic physical education.  Students can train in their free time, as well as during the regular sports classes.  A new outdoor track provides a park-like area for our students to enjoy running.
The Fitness Center is dedicated
to the memory of Norman Zuckerman
and Nathan Asher.
